Dr. Buchsbaum
After joining the practice almost 2 years ago, Dr. Buchsbaum saw thousands of patients recover their vision following their LASIK surgery with Dr. Niksarli, and then recommend their friends and family to do the same. He also observed many other LASIK doctors rely on Dr. Niksarli’s expertise and experience on a daily basis when operating on their own patients, using the most state-of-the-art technology at Manhattan Lasik Center. This level of comfort and confidence led Dr. Buchsbaum to undergo his own laser eye surgery by Dr Niksarli earlier this year. Now he is enjoying the benefits of 20/20 and better vision!
Following his laser vision correction surgery by Dr. Niksarli, Dr. Buchsbaum is enjoying the benefits of 20/20 vision.
February 2007, Dr Mark Buchsbaum stepped away from dependence on contacts and glasses and underwent LASEK at North East’s most advanced vision correction facility by medical director Dr. Niksarli.
Since he started working at Manhattan Lasik Center, Dr. Buchsbaum has performed thousands of LASIK procedures and saw firsthand how he transformed so many lives following this revolutionary procedure. Experiencing on a daily basis the remarkable safety, reliability and efficacy of laser vision correction, convinced him to have his own vision improved by the very same Technology and Experience, like so many people before him.
Even though his prescription was not very heavy, Dr. Buchsbaum still relied on corrective lenses, in order to see clearly far away. After a comprehensive evaluation by Dr. Niksarli, he was deemed a good candidate for the procedure. Following a successful LASEK procedure his vision was transformed into 20/20, and now he can function 24/7 without glasses and contacts.
“It is so amazing to be able to see so clearly following a ten minute, painless procedure, I should have had this done much earlier. Now I can tell my patients the benefits of laser eye surgery firsthand from my own experience.” remarks Dr. Buchsbaum.
Dr. Buchsbaum attended the prestigious Cornell University where he graduated with honors. He went on to get his medical degree from NY Medical College.
Dr. Buchsbaum completed his residency program in ophthalmology at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York City, where he also served as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology. Dr. Buchsbaum performs pre- and post-operative patient care as well as laser vision correction procedures with personalized attention to detail.
He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
